    You can conveniently take the samples wherever you want.
    The sample is sent back to us in the enclosed transport container in the return envelope.

    A few days later, you can securely access and download your lab result.

FAQ

How can I view my results?

The lab result can be viewed on the website https:/www.selbstlabor.de within a few days. You will be informed by e-mail when your results report is available. An app is not required.

How long do I have to wait for my result?

The test result is usually available 3 working days after receipt in our lab.

What happens to my sample?

After self-collection, the sample is sent by post to Labor Krone. Upon arrival at the laboratory, the sample is immediately analyzed. Subsequently, the sample is archived according to legal regulations
and then destroyed.

Who has access to my data?

Your customer data will be collected and processed for the purpose of purchase processing and payment transactions. The personal data of the test subjects will be processed exclusively by MVZ Labor Krone GmbH and its subsidiaries LABCON-OWL GmbH and IMEDAC GmbH for the purpose of medical analysis and the creation and retrieval of your medical results report.

Can I print my results report to show my family doctor?

Yes, the lab result is available as a PDF and corresponds to a standard lab report that you can discuss with your family doctor. We are also available to your family doctor as a contact person if they have any questions.
Please note that your lab report does not contain your name but your individual sample number.

What is the process?

Select the appropriate test kit and order it via
our online shop. Before performing the sample collection, please read the
instructions carefully to ensure accurate results.

Depending on the type of test, different samples are collected: urine, a swab, or blood from the fingertip. The collections are very simple
and almost painless to perform. Send the sample immediately in
the included transport vessel and return envelope free of charge to our
laboratory. Depending on shipping time, you will receive your
laboratory result 3-5 days later.

The results are medically
reviewed and commented on. In case of an abnormal laboratory result, e.g.,
detection of an infectious agent or deviation of values from the
reference range, we recommend consulting a doctor with the laboratory result.

Where can I find the instruction manual?

Each test kit includes easy-to-understand instructions in German and English. Additionally, explanatory videos for sample collection can be found in the order information for each test kit.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my results?

The Labor-Krone call center at 05222-8076-0 will forward your inquiry to our competent employees from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

What do I do if the result is abnormal?

In the event of an abnormal result, e.g., detection of blood in the stool or antibodies against a sexually transmitted pathogen, further treatment by the general practitioner may be necessary. The laboratory result can serve as a guide for the general practitioner.

What information is in my lab report?

The lab report contains your individual sample number, which allows us to uniquely identify your sample, your measured values, and a description of whether your measured value is within the reference range or if a pathogen detection was negative or
positive.

Can I have my order delivered to a DHL Packstation?

Yes, of course! You can conveniently have your order delivered to a DHL Packstation.

Here's how:

  1. Enter address:
    Simply enter "Packstation + number" in the Address field (e.g., Packstation 123).
  2. Provide PostNumber:
    Enter your PostNumber in the Address Line 2 or Company field.
  3. Select shipping method:
    In the checkout, select the shipping option "Delivery to DHL Packstation".
