Respiratory Allergy Test – for the analysis of 30 allergens

Respiratory Allergy Test – for the analysis of 30 allergens

Your self-sampling kit for determining 30 common respiratory allergies (mediated by IgE antibodies)

With the respiratory allergy test from Labor Krone, you can easily take a small blood sample at home, which will be examined in our laboratory for 30 of the most common respiratory allergies (also known as inhalation allergies).

An allergy is an overreaction of our body's immune system to certain environmental substances (allergens) that are normally harmless. Around 90% of all allergies are immediate type allergies, also called type I allergies, in which the reaction occurs immediately after contact with the allergen. This rapid immune response is mediated by IgE antibodies against the allergen.

The search for the allergy-triggering substance can be very time-consuming with individual skin tests and blood tests for individual allergens. Especially if you suffer from allergic symptoms such as runny nose, itchy eyes, cough, breathing difficulties and skin rashes, but have no concrete suspicion as to which allergen is causing the symptoms.
Therefore, it makes sense in such cases to analyze several allergens in a simple screening test without exposing yourself to the allergen in a prick test or provocation test.

The self-sampling kit contains sampling material for a small blood sample from the fingertip, which is examined in our accredited diagnostic laboratory using immunological measurement. You will receive the laboratory result after just a few days.
